The National Innovation and Startup Policy (NISP) 2019 for students and faculty of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) serves as a guiding framework to enable institutes to actively engage students, faculty, and staff in innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities.
The Governing Body, in consultation with the Principal, decided to adopt the NISP framework. This framework will help bring awareness regarding Intellectual Property ownership management, technology licensing, and institutional Startup policy, thus fostering a strong innovation and Start-up ecosystem at Sumathi Reddy Institute of Technology for Women.
