Admission Procedure
Sumathi Reddy Institute of Technology for Women (SRITW), established in the year 2009 with the permission of All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Institute has affiliation with JNTUH and is recognized under Section 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956. The Institute is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade and is ISO 9001:2015 certified.

For AC rooms, electrical charges to be paid through prepaid meters and will be deducted from electricity deposit.

Caution Deposit is one time only (Refund).
Undergraduate Programmes:
B. Tech (Regular) :
Admission into various UG programmes of SRITW is done through Common Entrance Tests conducted by Telengana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad or Merit in Qualifying exams.
The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B.Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects. The minimum eligibility criteria: At least 45% and 40% marks for candidates belongs to unreserved and reserved Category respectively in the subjects specified taken together at 10+2 pattern.
70 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Engineering, Agricultural and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (TGEAPCET) conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates.
B. Tech (Lateral Entry) :
The Diploma or B.Sc (Mathematics) holders can take admission in second year of B.Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (TGECET), under lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Telangana. As per the TGECET eligibility criteria, candidates must pass the qualifying exam with at least 45% marks while reserved category candidates have to secure 40% marks.
NOTE: Admissions will be conducted in accordance with the guidelines set by the Convener, TGEAPCET/TGECET/Govt. of Telangana/Affiliating University.
