- Promote admission of Persons with Disabilities in technical institutions.
- Create regular awareness among students, faculty and staff about equal opportunities and disability inclusion.
- Address special academic needs of students with disabilities in the teaching learning process.
- Provide assistance in training and placement support for students with disabilities.
- Facilitate provision of free laptops and internet charges to PwDs through the institution or State Government schemes.
- Establish a teacher mentor system for PwDs from admission till completion of the programme.
- Develop and promote disability friendly teaching learning processes using modern tools and assistive technologies.
- Ensure accessible infrastructure such as ramps, lifts, accessible toilets, proper signage, emergency support systems and reserved parking as per guidelines.
- Facilitate accessible teaching learning materials in digital formats, Braille, large print and audio formats wherever required.
